After a career in advertising, branding, and online marketing for a Fortune 500 company in Washington, DC, I landed in a small Italian town near the Adriatic coast, and a new way of life began!

Culture Clash

As an American living in central Italy, I am immersed in Italian culture. I appreciate its beauty and I experience every day the things that make it unique and enjoyable. But I also recognize the huge differences between my English-speaking culture and many Italian language traditions. Written and spoken communication styles are significantly different, and it requires thoughtful work to decode them.

Living both realities lets me understand the nuances of both languages. I leverage my corporate American marketing background and my daily Italian existence, to carefully choose the words that best represent your brand and help you grow your business.

Love What You Do

Having spent several years in wine sales – the backbone of the Italian economy! – I wrote dozens of promotional pieces on viticulture and tourism. Working with architects has instructed me in the fields of art, furniture, and design; and I have translated advertising and web sites for clothing, jewelry, footwear, and accessories companies through numerous client and agency projects.

Enjoying the subjects and industries I work with makes it easy to be passionate about getting their materials just right.
